Sombre best describes this sweet little track from Kevin de Vries. As the bass rumbles away, with deep subby frequencies emanating from way down below, in the top line swirling, airy pads add a hint of mystery to proceedings. Forlorn effects are added to increase the melancholy feel, and a general air of sadness permeates through the ambient backdrop as the beats continue at a pace. It's a well-balanced construction, wait for the bright synth lines towards the latter part of the track, which switch things up a bit. Nice.
