Kerri Chandler is heading to Australia for the first time in more than five years

The US house icon hits Melbourne and Sydney with Hot Since 82 in November

House music heavyweight Kerri Chandler is heading to Australia for the first time in more than five years for Hot Since 82's 'Knee Deep in Sound' series.

The deep house pioneer has just been announced alongside DJ J'Nett for 'Knee Deep in Melbourne' at the city's Forum Theatre on November 23, having already been revealed for the event's Sydney leg at Australian Technology Park with Carl Craig and Heidi the following day. Of course, Hot Since 82 also plays both dates.

The last time Chandler was down under was New Year's 2012/13, when he played the first ever Let Them Eat Cake festival and parties in Adelaide and Sydney.

Tickets for Knee Deep in Melbourne are on sale here from August 3. Sydney tickets here.
