DJ Seinfeld, Amelie Lens and Nastia among names announced for Karrusel festival in Copenhagen

The festival will run from August 25-27 and showcase the best in "new electronic music"

Karrusel festival has dropped a slew of new names for its third edition — featuring an eclectic selection of performers from across the spectrum of electronic music.

Based in Copenhagen, the festival will run from August 25 to 27 with headliners, Amelie Lens, Andhim, DJ Seinfeld, Extrawelt (live), Folamour and Nastia.

Aiming to “document and showcase new electronic music” Karrusel 2022 will be the second biggest event for electronic underground music in Denmark set facing an iconic vintage carrousel ride.

34 artists will be spread across three days and three open-air stages at an abandoned shipyard on Refshaleøen, a former industrial island around a 15-minute cycle from the city centre.

The breakdown of the three-day event kicks off with Darwin, DJ Seinfeld, Folamour, Yung Singh, Disfunctional Disco and more.

The next day showcases Andhim, Nastia, Partiboi69, Extrawelt (live), Fyraftensboogie, The Hunts, Oceanvs Orientalis and others.

Last but not least, Saturday night has Amelie Lens, Kerala Dust, Elli Acula, Xique-Xique, Aja Gulris, Annælix, Ena Cosovic performing amongst many other international stars.

Last year's Karrusel featured knockout sets from The Blessed Madonna, Peggy Gou, Hunee, Mall Grab and Job Jobse.
