Kanye West concedes defeat in US presidential race after picking up 60,000 votes
The rapper appears to already be planning for a Kanye 2024 bid
Kanye West has conceded defeat in his bid to become US president.
The rapper picked up around 60,000 votes across the 12 states where he was included on the ballot.

Despite falling short this time round, he’s already setting his sights on 2024, posting an elector map on Twitter alongside the caption “KANYE 2024”.
On election day November 3, West tweeted: “Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust...me.”
He documented himself voting for the first time in Wyoming, where he had to write his name in his name after failing to get onto the ballot in his home state.
The biggest section of votes for Kanye West came in Tennessee, where he picked up 10,258 votes according to the New York Times. Other states with a sizable number of votes cast for West include Minnesota (7,811), Iowa (3,202), Coloradio (6,296), Kentucky (6,312), Oklahoma (5,590), Louisiana (4,893), Arkansas (4,027), Utah (4,344), Vermont (1,266) and Idaho (3,544).
