Kanye West has opened a new private school named ‘Donda Academy’
Lessons include visual art, film, choir, and parkour
Kanye West has opened a new Christian preparatory private school called Donda Academy, where parents allegedly have to sign NDAs to have their children attend.
The school will be located in Simi Valley, California and will be a tuition-based, Christianity-rooted school.
According to the school’s website, the institution aims to “prepare students to become the next generation of leaders”.

Lessons that students will receive include “full school worship; core classes of language arts, math and science; lunch and recess; enrichment courses including world language, visual art, film, choir, and parkour”.
The school costs $15,000 per year for a student to attend — though scholarships and funding are also available for applicants to the school, according to the Dona Academy website.
“Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of financial situation. Financial aid and scholarships are available for students who qualify.”
Page Six reports that Kanye’s collaborator Malik Yusef explains that half of the students at the school will be supported by scholarship funding, while the other half will be the children of celebrities and friends of Kanye who can afford the tuition fee.
Rolling Stone reported that two families, whose children attend the school, claimed that they were made to sign NDAs

Tamar Andrews, a representative of the school, told Rolling Stone that parents of each student only have to sign “an informal agreement” - but did not further clarify what this agreement means.
“The people that want to come to the school are looking for a good Christian school in that area and they know that we’re there … there is also certain notoriety that comes with being affiliated with Donda. So, I don’t know that we have to advertise, which is a blessing and a curse.”
Andrews has also confirmed that Kanye’s Christian academy is still in the process of becoming accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
