Kai Whiston’s debut album is scheduled to drop this month

‘Kai Whiston Bitch’ lands November 23 via GLOO

Kai Whiston is releasing his debut album ‘Kai Whiston Bitch’ via his and Iglooghost’s GLOO imprint later this month.

The new release from the 19-year-old producer follows up his 2017 EP offering ‘Fissure Price’, which landed via Big Dada.

Drawing “fractured” influence from the likes of Arca, Hudson Mohawke, Death Grips, Timbaland and more, the new 11-tracker references abstract sounds, styles and tempos from across the board in hyper-active style.

“This is the collective pursuit of every irrational primitive desire and instinct that we all face,” says Whiston. “'Kai Whiston Bitch' is my voice of self indulgence that develops beyond any evaluative insight, with every disregard of being civilised. A complete ephemera of shedding, estranging all polite perspectives. Being a dickhead has never felt so romantic.”

Tune into the project’s high-octane, sample-heavy lead single ‘Lux’ below and pre-order the album before it lands on November 23 here.
