JP Enfant crafts atmospheric techno defined by airy pads and lo-fi percussive foundations.

The Dutch DJ is a founding member of Amsterdam’s Les Enfants Terribles collective which has been throwing parties since the turn of this decade. It’s renowned as one of the Dutch capital’s finest nights, housed by the city’s best spaces and featuring first-rate guests such as Ben UFO, Gerd Janson and The Black Madonna.

Last year the crew founded a label, LET Recordings, which JP Enfant minted with the beautifully misty ‘Dreaming Backwards’. Now he’s back taking charge of the imprint’s third outing with a four-track EP titled ‘Our Future Is Under Construction’.

‘They’ on the B-side is an enchanting number that forefronts a flickering synth melody above a swirling mesh of ambient haze. This one will no doubt cause epiphanies when pumping out the impeccable system of Amsterdam’s De School club, at which JP Enfant has recently landed a residency. Check it out below.
