Joe Goddard and Danny Dove remix Goldfrapp’s ‘Anymore’
They take the electronic duo’s new single to the next level
Goldfrapp have announced the release of their seventh studio album 'Silver Eye' due out on March 31 on Mute Records.
Their leading single ‘Anymore’ came out in January, and now two remixes from Danny Dove and Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard are available.
Dove’s edit is dancefloor-ready: injected with housey, energetic, pulsing beats, while Goddard takes the track down a darker and more experimental avenue.
Joe Goddard said: "With this remix I took tracks like ‘Freak' by LFO and ‘Two Of Us' by Supermayer as my inspiration and had fun with my Eurorack Modular System - I wanted to make something tense and chaotic.”
Goldfrapp’s 'Silver Eye' follows their 2013 LP ‘Tales Of Us’ and was produced with John Congleton and the Haxan Cloak.
