Jesse Rose will be retiring from producing and DJing in 2017
A surprising farewell ahead of his final album out in February
Producer and DJ Jesse Rose has announced his decision to depart from his music career after the release of his forthcoming album 'Alright Mate', which is set to arrive in February 2017.
The London artist began making music at age 14 before going on to have an illustrious two decade-long career filled with over a hundred memorable releases on Get Physical, Dubsided and more while also balancing a prolific tour schedule which saw him play at legendary venues like Fabric, Panorama Bar and more.
"I can honestly say I feel blessed to have been a part of this scene," Jesse said in his official statement. "I will always love DJing and making music but there comes a time when your body doesn’t enjoy it as much as your mind. I have the biggest love for the fans of house music, my labels and the people that dig what we’ve done. I can only say thank so much to everyone that has supported me over these magical two decades."
Before Rose fully retires, he plans to embark on one final tour to celebrate his 'Alright Mate' album in 2017. Details for his tour remain to be announced, but he promises friends and collaborators from his career as well as icons from the house and techno scene will be in tow.
