Jarreau Vandal b2b salute in The Lab LDN
Expect this set from two rising stars to dazzle like a supernova
The Lab LDN is Mixmag and Coors Light's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous office party.
This Friday we’re hosting a slick-shooting back-to-back session between Jarreau Vandal and salute.
Jarreau Vandal is a name gaining serious traction in dance music. Diplo has labeled the Dutch artist “the future” and Mistajam has said his credit on a production is an assured rubber stamp of “pure fire”. As a member of Los Angeles crew Soulection and further afield he’s released a string of vibrant tracks that are packed full of colour and soul.
Recently wrapping up a packed-out European tour, Vandal is gearing up to unleash new music this summer and looks set to be a regular fixture of the festival circuit with appearances at Appelsap, Pukkelpop, Lowlands and more confirmed.
Manchester-based salute was born and raised in Vienna, but drawn to these shores by a passion for UK bass culture that shines through in his Hudson Mohawke and Rustie-inspired sparkling productions. He also channels hip hop, r’n’b and funk influence into his sounds, forming music that’s rich with serotonin-dripping textures. A new project ‘Condition’ drops this summer.
Vibes are guaranteed when these two join forces. The live stream starts at 5pm BST this Friday, April 13, you can tune in live over on our Facebook page and re-watch on MixmagTV from 6pm GMT.
