Jaguar's UTOPIA releases single from Flava D and Paige Eliza

'Miss Dopamine' is a UKG anthem for girls who fall in love with girls

Flava D & Paige Eliza have today released 'Miss Dopamine' on Jaguar's UTOPIA label.

'Miss Dopamine' is a queer bassline banger dedicated to girls who fall in love with girls, with Paige Eliza's honey-laced vocals accompanied by Flava D's rolling bass and trademark wobbles.

'Miss Dopamine' marks another Paige Eliza collaboration with a UK bass and garage heavyweight, having previously worked with Sammy Virji, Oppidan and MPH. The Leeds producer and vocalist will be performing with Flava D at Manchester's Warehouse Project on November 10.

Flava D's sound shifts between UKG, grime, bassline and drum 'n' bass, releasing across Hospital Records, Butterz, Local Action and now Jaguar's UTOPIA, the BBC Radio 1 Dance DJ and curator's label, which is also a club night and podcast.

The broadcaster described her multi-faceted operation as a "world I am creating, so that we can all live here, dance around to sick music and lift each other up."

"This year we became a record label, which felt like the missing piece of the puzzle. UTOPIA is all about connecting emerging artists, music lovers and inspiring others, and I've really felt the love on the tunes we've put out this year. Each release is completely different, but they are all fun club-tracks with a twinkle in their eye."

Since its inception in 2020 UTOPIA has brought inclusive, queer and vibrant parties to Venue MOT, Unit 58, Night Tales.
