Set up as a subsidiary of Virgin Records in 1995, before breaking away in 1998, Planet Mu has long been a part of the British electronic and dance music tapestry. Run by the IDM pioneer Mike Paradinas aka μ-Ziq, and with releases from the godfather of footwork RP Boo, the weightless grime of Mr Mitch, and onto ambient synths of Konx-Om- Pax. And over the last 20 years has continued to prove that intelligent and enjoyable dance music has gone nowhere.
