Is Dekmantel the Label Of The Decade? Vote now
Dekmantel began life as a series of small-scale illegal parties thrown in north Amsterdam and has since evolved into one of the biggest powerhouses in global dance music, with the scope of its ambition seemingly unlimited. The Dutch company now curates and produces a string of international festivals and parties spanning São Paulo to Tokyo, and in 2009 launched the label arm of its operation. Dekmantel has since housed releases from the freshest new talents going such as Palms Trax and Call Super, and locked in minimal techno founding figure Robert Hood for a series of records exploring his pioneering roots.
