In 1997 Tijs Verwest and Arny Bink set up Black Hole Recordings which has run as a trance and progressive power-house ever since. Although Tijs (better known as Tiësto) parted ways with the label in 2009 before then it enjoyed huge success with its sub labels Songbird (which put out Tiesto’s In Search of Sunrise series) and Magik Muzik. Signed artists include Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, Giuseppe Ottaviani, John O'Callaghan, Judge Jules and Robbie Rivera.
