Los Angeles based 100% Silk was founded in 2011 by Amanda Brown, who also co-founded Not Not Fun Records, the label’s parent company. Over the years 100% Silk has built up an eclectic catalogue of what the label refers to as “diamond-life dance, bliss-disco, basement luxury grooves”. It’s underground roster consists of Ital, Octo Octa, Cherushii and Golden Donna among countless innovators. Another aspect that makes this label special is that it releases music on multiple mediums, including both 12 inch records and cassette tapes.
