I-Robots - 7/10

A steady build up is where Detroit bad boy Gary Martin gets started with this delightful remix of ‘Own Existence’.

The beauty of this track lies in the fact that it really feels as though Martin is telling us a story. The way in which each of the layers and elements plays off against each other is excellent, it’s busy but not too cluttered – each part has enough space to do its own thing and contribute to the larger composition.

And we do have a soft spot for Stephen Hawking-esque filtered robot voices, so another point scored there.
