Hot Chip, Or:La and Call Super tapped for Ortigia Sound System Festival
The fifth edition of the Italian island festival takes place on July 25 - 26
Located off the east coast of Italy, the island of Ortigia is historical and fortified city center turned popular tourist destination in the Sicilian city of Syracuse. Taking place in castles, ancient markets, beautiful gardens and boats throughout the area, the sprawling and fetching event known as Ortigia Sound System Festival returns for its fifth year with a toothsome lineup up cutting-edge acts.
Set to take place between July 25 - 29, the festival has tapped the likes of James Holden, Omar Souleyman, DJ Seinfeld, Call Super, Bad Gyal, Bwana, Suzanne Kraft, Or:La and more to score this wonderful and exquisitely distinct party. For this year's headlining act, Hot Chip will be making their Italian premiere with their new Hot Chip Megamix project - a versatile and improvised venture which allows for greater versatility in the booth.
The festival has also taken it upon themselves to offer a variety of daily experiences which includes snorkeling, historical tours, boat rides, skydiving, street-food tours and much more.
