Groove Island is a new immersive dance music experience
Groove Island debuts off the coast of Los Angeles in September
Groove Island is a new immersive dance music experience debuting this September.
On the weekend of September 27 to 30, Groove Island will combine over 40 live bands and DJs, gourmet dining, yoga, wellness workshops and stand-up comedy on Catalina Island, just 22 miles off the coast of Los Angeles.
Artists will host activities such as a golf and fishing tournament, mountain hiking, zip lining, jet skiing and loads more.
Anyone that's seen the Will Ferrell-starring Step Brothers will know of Catalina Island thanks to the Catalina Wine Mixer.
The award-winning Whet Travel, the team behind Groove Cruise, is responsible for Groove Island and has snapped up the majority of hotels, Airbnbs and campground on the island to accommodate guests of the festival. Yacht, ferry and helicopter packages will be available on March 20.
