Goldie to release an “uncensored, hard-hitting” memoir
The book is out in November
Goldie will publish a “gonzo” memoir titled All Things Remembered on November 2 through Faber.
The UK publisher describes the book as “uncensored, hard-hitting” and “an explosive story of abuse, revenge, graffiti, gold teeth, sawn-off shotguns, car crashes, hot yoga, absent fatherhood, and redemption through reality TV.” It charts the Metalheadz boss’ life through growing up in care homes to his seminal work in dance music.
Talking about the memoir, Goldie said: “All Things Remembered is not just the story of how and why, it’s everything from the children’s homes to the Whispering Wheels roller-disco to rolling with the graffiti kings of New York to writing with David Bowie to reinventing myself as the Dorian Gray of fucking breakbeat.”
The book will follow the release of ‘The Journey Man’, Goldie’s first album since 1998, which is set to arrive on June 16.
