Giggs releases second solo single of 2022, ‘Time’
The music video, directed by Myles Whittingham, features a giant Giggs destroying Piccadilly Circus
Giggs has shared a new solo single ‘Time’ along with its music video.
Since working with the likes of NSG, Rimzee, Lethal Bizzle and many more this year, this new track is his second solo release of 2022 with ‘Da Maximum’ out last month.
Opening with a strong piano ballad and the lyrics, “It’s only up from here,” the down-tempo track moves swiftly into a grime beat and contrasting guitar riff with the chorus: “Time, it's only gotten faster, I got to keep it movin', got so much to look after, I live through the guidance, Keep diggin', got to dig for your diamonds, Time's tickin', listen”.

‘Time’ has been produced by Dirty Saj and K1 and the video was directed by Myles Whittingham who is also behind the creation of the film series THE ESSENCE which was soundtracked by Giggs.
The music video flips between shots of the artist rapping into a dangling microphone surrounded by a screen portraying his lyrics to a shot of him as a giant destroying London’s Picadilly Circus.
For the album artwork, Giggs is side-by-side another image of himself in front of a montage of images from his life with the title 'Time' styled the same as Time Magazine.
His last solo single ‘Da Maximum’ is a music video which showcases his hometown of Peckham, South London as well as some clips in Brooklyn, New York.

In April, he worked with fellow rapper Aitch on the track ‘Just Coz’. In a statement, Aitch said: “We had a good laugh, it was an honour to work with the big man. Giggs taught me a lot of stuff; he’s my guy for life.”
