German festival Nachtiville cancels its 2025 edition due to lack of ticket sales
The festival by Nachtdigital has urged people to “stand by the festivals and clubs you love”
German-based festival Nachtiville has cancelled its upcoming edition.
Sharing a statement on Instagram, the festival run by Nachtdigital cited poor ticket sales as the reason for its cancellation.
Nachtiville was originally launched by Nachtdigital in 2015 at a Center Parcs in the Netherlands. After an eight-year-long break, the festival announced plans to relocate to Germany’s Ostsee Ferienpark at Weissenhäuser Beach along the Baltic coast.
The festival was due to take place between January 17-19 with the likes of Skee Mask, ISAbella, DJ Gigola and more on the line-up.

In a statement titled “Goodbye Nachtiville”, the festival said: “After many ups and downs - two pandemic-related cancellations, a controversial first edition in 2023 and a brilliant rebirth in 2024 -we are now forced to make a decision that is infinitely difficult for us: Nachtiville 2025 cannot take place.”
In August, Nachtiville shared the results of a survey on their ticket sales which found that 47% of people interested in going to the festival had not purchased a ticket due to its price.
Earlier this month, in response to this new data, the festival launched a new ticketing plan known as the ‘Ticket Spint’ with the goal to sell 1500 tickets in 14 days.
The plan saw its usual ticket package of accommodation with tickets for three nights go from €320 to €220.

The festival has since shared: “Despite a promising ticket sprint, we unfortunately failed to sell an amount of tickets that would have given us a chance to proceed in a healthy and sustainable way to make Nachtiville 2025 happen.”
Nachtiville is asking for the public’s support with donations and for people to “stand by the festivals and clubs you love,’ adding: “Your early ticket purchases and backing are crucial now more than ever. Together, we can keep the spirit of our scene alive.”
