Fred Again.. and Overmono team up with Lil Yachty on new track ‘stayinit’
Out now, the music video has Yachty hear the song on a “properrrr” soundsystem for the first time
Fred Again.. and Overmono have teamed up with Lil Yachty for new single ‘stayinit’.
The single marks the first time Fred again.. has collaborated with the UK breaks duo Overmono, as well as GRAMMY-nominated rapper Lil Yachty.
Fans have been waiting in anticipation for the release of 'stayinit' since the four joined forces for a spontaneous pop-up rave at New York's The Knockdown Center on February 8, and again during a broadcast on The Lot Radio.

The single is out now, along with a music video which includes footage of the first time Yachty heard the track on a “properrrr” soundsystem.
“Hiiiii we haven’t done a video in ages”, Fred Again.. shares in the video description. “I’m pretty sure that before this [Lil Yachty] might have only heard it thru his phone lol. And this tune is obviously builtttt for rooms and sound like this. So it was fun to get to play it to him like that”.
‘stayinit’ is set to appear in Fred’s mixtape series, ‘USB’, which already features ‘leavemealone’ with Baby Keem, ‘ten’ with Jozzy and ‘adore u’ with Obongjayar.

On top of this release, Fred Again.. recently sold out all six of his Australian arena shows within a "matter of hours" after his tour announcement.
Not long after announcing the arena tour, Fred revealed he would play a surprise live show at the Sydney Opera House that same evening. According to The Guardian, the show saw over 120,000 people queue for tickets and a temporary crash on the Opera House website.
