Fred again.. announces 14-date "places we've never been" tour of North America

The tour will kick off next month in Denver, with stops planned in Detroit, Salt Lake City, Atlanta and more

Fred again.. has announced 14 dates in North America as part of his "places we've never been" tour.

Kicking off next month, the tour will hit Denver, Salt Lake City and Seattle before travelling west to Minneapolis, East Troy, Detroit, Toronto and Buffalo.

The final dates, set for October, will be in Atlanta and Fort Worth, although the artist has assured fans that this is not the completed list of cities, and instead “It’s just every one that we’ve confirmed."

The announcement comes just days after Fred again.., aka Fred Gibson, shared details of his new album — set for release on September 6.

Entitled ‘ten days’, the 10-track LP is set to contain features from an impressive roster of artists including Obongjayar, Jozzy, Jim Legxacy, Sampha, Four Tet, Skrillex and many more.

The arrival of ‘ten days’ will mark the start of the tour, commencing just five days after the album’s release.

While the British musician has achieved massive success in the US, including a handful of sold-out shows in California and New York — including selling out Madison Square Garden last year alongside Skrillex and Four Tet in a matter of minutes — the places we've never been tour will see Gibson visit crowds across the continent for the first time.

Ahead of the tour, Fred again.. is scheduled to play across Europe and the UK at a number of festivals including Pukkelpop in Belgium (August 16), Lowlands in The Netherlands (August 17), Rock en Seine in France (August 23), as well as Reading and Leeds Festivals (August 24 and 25).

Fans can sign up for pre-sale tickets from now until August 8, when pre-sale tickets go on sale. Pre-sale tickets for each show will be on sale from 12:PM local time to 10:PM local time. Tickets will go on general sale at 12:PM, August 9.
