The platform announced the news alongside its final mix from DJ, producer and composer Tati au Miel

Fact Magazine has announced that it will wrap up its eponymous mix series after 16 years.

The platform announced the news via statement on its final mix, from DJ, producer, composer and designer Tati au Miel: “After 16 years of mixes, Fact’s pioneering music program will no longer continue in its current iteration.”

It continues: “We are beyond grateful to the incredible breadth and depth of artists we have had the privilege of platforming over these years and we thank each and every one of them for their contributions.

Fact insists that it will continue to "showcase the present and future electronic music and art" going forward, reassuring listeners that "almost every mix" the publication has hosted will remain on Mixcloud and SoundCloud as an archive.

“As Fact has always maintained, there has been no more exciting time in the history of music than right now, you only have to listen,” the statement continues.

Fact’s mix series was launched in 2008 with Count & Sinden’s ‘Mix 01’ before spanning a huge host of global electronic music artists including the likes of Slowdive, Autechre, Ellen Allien, Bored Lord, RP Boo with recent episodes from Toumba, Jossy Mitsu and more.

The final mix from Tati au Miel marks Fact's 940th in the series.

Tati au Miel says in their interview with Fact: "There are references in my art to the queer, trans, LGBTQIA+ community, as well as to gender-fluid Black people, that bring a lot of positivity to my personal experience.”
