Fabric's licence appeal date has been set
The venue has raised over £260,000 in donations so far
Fabric's appeal against the club's licence being revoked will be heard on November 28.
The date was revealed in the second transparency statement, released to show people what donations are being used for, issued by managing director Gary Kilbey.
Writing on Facebook, Kilbey said: "Yesterday at 4pm we were pleased to receive a confirmed date for the appeal to be heard. It will commence Monday 28th November at Highbury Magistrates Court. We would like to thank everyone involved in helping to obtain this expedited date. We have begun to prepare our case."
He also outlined the work Philip Kolvin QC has been doing, including preparing a case to argue for a modification of the Home Secretaries Guidance under the Licensing Act.
"Philip has just finished the 1st draft of our request for the need to change the Home Secretaries Guidance under the Licensing Act. We have put this to a number of trade and music industry organisations and associations to seek their opinion, advice and support. We want to ensure this is something the industry as whole are able to get behind."
The London venue had its licence revoked by Islington Council last month after two drug-related deaths.
