Fabio & Grooverider announced for first night of Bristol's Siren event

They'll be joined by The Outlook Orchestra to headline the event

Fabio & Grooverider have been announced as the first headliner for this year's Siren at Bristol Amphitheatre, joined by the Outlook Orchestra, for a harbourside drum 'n' bass affair.

The night will see the two forces combine to curate a special score featuring some of the most "well-loved" tracks in the drum 'n' bass sphere in a genre-bending tribute to two recent sold-out nights at London's Royal Festival Hall.

It'll showcase an exploration of classic anthems in "never-before-experienced" ways, paying homage to globally-recognised tracks from the underground.

“It’s great to bring Siren back to Bristol Harbourside this year with our biggest line-up yet," says Siren co-founder Tom Hoyle. "Fabio & Grooverider and The Outlook Orchestra will be kicking off the weekend, which is the perfect way to get the party started. A legendary duo in drum & bass and jungle, they’re a living machine of creativity and not to be missed.”

The full festival will take place from Thursday, July 27 through to Saturday, July 29. With Fabio & Grooverider headlining the Thursday, the remaining two days' worth of line-up are yet to be announced.

On opening duties for launch night are original Reggae selector David Rodigan MBE and local MC Gardna, with further support TBC.
