Hailing from the Scottish town of Ayr, Ewan McVicar has broken through as one of the nation’s finest. The producer and DJ makes his first appearance in the Lab this week following a four week shift at BBC Radio 1 Dance where he took up a weekly residency, and a non-stop slew of shows since the summer began. Alongside frequent appearances at Glasgow’s Sub Club and his own club night TEN in the producer’s hometown of Ayr, Ewan helps to build the local clubbing scene and bring rise to up-and-coming artists.
A protégé to none other than Newcastle’s Patrick Topping, Ewan McVicar has released numerous times on the producer’s Trick Records and saw his come up through tracks including ‘Tell Me Something Good’ and ‘Street Rave’.
