Fresh off her fourth album ‘Where Are We Going?’, Brooklyn’s Octo Octa has dropped a track to help launch a new party in Brooklyn.

Frendzone are releasing a split EP with Octo Octa, real name Maya Bouldry-Morrison, offering up ‘Daylight’ as one of the tracks.

Influenced by the breaks that provided the backbone of early drum ‘n’ bass and jungle, 'Daylight' manages to walk the line between mellow and rhythmic with aplomb. Luscious clipped vocals, a restrained piano lick and booming subs make it perfect for sunrise and sunset alike.
