Essential: Lone's 'Minds Eye Melody' is the glorious sound of a never-ending summer
The lead track from 'Ambivert Tools Volume Two'
After the success of Lone’s ‘Ambivert Tools Volume One’ on R&S which included the cracking ‘Crush Mood’, the producer has wasted no time on his follow-up.
‘Ambivert Tools Volume Two’ is due out in August and again comes via R&S. It features three more tracks bursting with lush melodies and crunching drums, a combination the Nottingham native made his signature with his last EP.
The first track previewed off the EP is ‘Minds Eye Melody’, another track carried by floating arpeggios and tropical percussion that sounds like a mellow sibling of his track ‘Chroma’ from the volume one.
