Essential: DRS and LSB’s Marcus Intalex tribute ‘Angels Fall’
All proceeds will be donated to Marcus’ family
DRS and LSB have released a new track titled ‘Angels Fall’ in tribute to Marcus Intalex, real name Marcus Kaye, who tragically passed away on Sunday.
A constant innovator and champion of rising talent, the Soul:r boss leaves an influential legacy behind.
LSB and DRS are two of the brightest talents Marcus nurtured, and ‘Angels Fall’ is a heart-wrenching production, combining emotive lyrics and haunting production.
All proceeds from the track will be donated to Kaye’s mother Pat and girlfriend Ayumi to help with their immediate costs.
Writing on Bandcamp, the duo said: “We are still very much mourning the sad and sudden passing of our beloved friend Marcus Kaye, known to many as Marcus Intalex or Trevino.
“Whilst longer term we will be putting our heads together to find a fitting tribute to Marcus’s life and music, for now we would like to share a track from DRS and LSB which seems to reflect our thoughts at this time.”
