Essential: Coco Cole’s ‘Universal Language’ is an exploration of deep, quaking beats

“Less rules, more expressions”

Pacha Ibiza Resident Coco Cole has just dropped a new series called ‘Universal Language’.

Having spent this year living, working and breathing the scene on the White Isle, Coco returns to the UK with fresh eyes and a new sound.

Her knowledge and skills learnt from previous A&R experience at Black Butter Records and her seminal weekly shows on Capital and Capital Xtra, make Coco a key champion of electronic artists.

‘Universal Language’ shows a new side to the taste-maker, selecting new releases from Four Tet, Anna Wall, Radio Slave, Avalon Emerson, dubspeeka, Bicep and more, side-by-side for an hour of ear-warming delight.

Coco introduces the first episode with her husky tones: “’Universal Language 001’ is a collection of tracks that accompany the sentiment I have now, post-Ibiza. It's time to buckle down, hibernate, self-improve, study, relax and indulge in all that winter has to offer. I hope you like it.”

You can listen to the first edition of ’Universal Language’ below.
