Drumcode cancel Malta show over "difficulties" with event planners Pollen
The brand have accused Pollen of "serious failings" and a "lack of communication"
Drumcode has announced that its show in Malta will no longer go ahead due to "unresolved problems" with festival and event planners Pollen.
In a statement on Instagram, the record label and party brand founded by Adam Beyer accused Pollen of "serious failings" and a "lack of communication" that had left them no other choice but to pull out of the event.
Drumcode Festival Malta had been set to go ahead from September 15-19, with 50 acts scheduled to play shows across various heritage sites and venues across the island. Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, DJ Rush, Joris Voorn, Maceo Plex, Monika Kruse were all scheduled to play.

Pollen, a travel and events organisation who specialise in putting on large-scale festivals had been in charge of the venues, ticketing and accommodation for the event. Sky News has reported that Pollen hasn't paid staff and "is on the brink of collapse."
"We are heartbroken to have to give you the news that, due to accumulation of unresolved problems with Pollen," Drumcode wrote on Instagram. "We no longer have confidence in their ability to deliver the rigorous high standards of safety and customer experience we demand of an event presented under our name."
"We have made every effort to work with them to resolve these issues, but despite their repeated assurances, critical deadlines passed at the end of last week without the necessary improvements being made."
On a concerning note, Drumcode wrote that they "have received no money from Pollen for the event," and therefore were not at the capacity to offer refunds to ticketholders, instead sharing customer service email addresses for Pollen.
