A series of stacked DJ streams paying tribute to Alex T are taking place this week

Money raised will be donated to Meningitis Now

Four days of DJ streams dedicated to the memory of Alex T are taking place this week.

The promising young DJ tragically passed away in January earlier this year from bacterial meningitis. His brother Seb has organised the streams to mark what would have been Alex’s 26th birthday on June 16 and to raise money for Meningitis Now.

Tribe Records, where Alex worked, hosts the first stream tomorrow, June 16, at Leeds spot Sheaf Street. On June 17 a stream from Alex’s hometown of Manchester is hosted by Partisan, Left, Right & Centre & All Hands On Deck.

Heels & Souls bring the music to London on June 19 with a 14 hour session lined up, before the final stretch returns to Alex’s spiritual home of Leeds with the On Rotation event and series he co-helmed overseeing the day.

The streams will be available to watch on Facebook Live and donations are requested, with the series aiming to raise £5,000 across the week for Meningitis Now.

You can donate and find out more about the organisation at the dedicated Just Giving page.

Attend the Facebook event and view details of each stream here.

A number of Alex T’s close friends and colleagues in music are set to play. See the line-up breakdown below.
