DJ Craze in The Lab SYD

The Lab is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream, powered by Void Acoustics, where we showcase the finest DJs direct from our world famous international office party. This week in The Lab SYD we welcome 5 times DMC winner DJ Craze.

After becoming the only solo DJ to win the DMC World Championships 3 times over, plus 2 team championships, it’s no surprise he was named “America’s Best DJ” by none other than Time Magazine. It was proof enough for Kanye West, who took him on tour as his personal DJ, all whilst racking up 8.5 million views on his Traktor YouTube channel, including his ‘New Slaves Routine’ hitting almost 2 million alone.

While touring the world over, DJ Craze still managed to find time to start his own imprint Slow Roast Records with Kill The Noise, on the infamous Fool’s Gold Records (A-Track, Kid Cudi, Danny Brown).

Before embarking on his own headline tour across Asia, DJ Craze is currently touring Australia with his 2¢ partner, Four Color Zack. The pair have just released their collaborative ‘Making Change’ EP out on Slow Roast Records, check it out here.
