Disclosure's Howard Lawrence announces break from upcoming tour dates
Just one half of the electronic duo will be playing shows in Australia
Disclosure’s Howard Lawrence has announced that he is taking a break from their upcoming tour stint in Australia.
In an announcement posted on social media, Howard explains that he “needs to take some time” away from being on the road — after “touring almost constantly” for over a decade.
He has confirmed that he won’t be playing the five upcoming Australian tour dates scheduled for late September and early October.

“This year I’ve done my absolute best to push through for you all, and have managed to play many, many shows, but sadly I’ve now hit a breaking point and really need to take some time to look after myself,” the statement reads.
He then apologises to Disclosure’s fans and confirms that he will spend this time away from stages to write new music for the duo.
Howard also reminisces on some of the “good times” that he has while on the road, but says that “jet lag, lack of routine, and being away from friends” are having a negative impact on him.
