Memorial Day weekend brings underground music fans of all backgrounds to Detroit for Movement festival each year - a time which the purest presenters of techno are celebrated in the city from which the genre sprouted.
On the Monday of the three-day weekend, Los Angeles based party promoter Dirty Epic touches down in The Motor City for its sixth year to host Anthology at Leland Club.
The nighttime gathering welcomes Detroit legends Juan Atkins and Terrence Parker to head the event, alongside Scan7, Belief Defect, Surachai and more. The promoters have described Anthology as "the story of techno narrated by the originator of the sound itself", fitting for the likes of Atkins on the decks.
