Desert Hearts takeover the Lab LA

Last Friday in the Mixmag Lab: LA we welcomed the Desert Hearts crew to the beautiful outdoor patio just across the street from our Hollywood office.

Desert Hearts is a party collective and record label based in Southern California. Built on an ethos of love, art and beats, the crew has garnered a big reputation for throwing their eponymous, Burning Man-esque desert festival soundtracked by their unique brand of deep, trippy progressive underground house. As the Deserts Hearts festival nears its two year anniversary and the crew arrive in town for a special 'City Hearts' party at Beyond The Stars Palace in Glendale, we're really excited to host the core group of Mikey Lion, Deep Jesus, Lee Reynolds and Porkchop. Given the diversity within the crew, expect Desert Hearts to bring a genre-wide sweep from ass-shakin' classic house, to deep sunrise techno.
