Depeche Mode announce UK, Ireland and Europe tour

The duo will return to their ongoing 'Momento Mori' tour in January

Depeche Mode has announced it will be bringing its ‘Momento Mori’ tour back to the UK, Ireland and Europe next year.

The duo, made up of Dave Gahan and Martin Gore, are currently on their ‘Momento Mori’ world tour but have decided to add a fourth leg.

The tour has seen them travel through the US and Europe, with the new leg to start on January 22 in London.

Other cities they are set to cover include Glasgow, Dublin, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona and plenty more.

The tour showcases live performances of their first album in five years as well as their first release since the sudden passing of fellow co-founder Andy Fletcher in May 2022.

Martin Gore previously said: “We started work on this project early in the pandemic, and its themes were directly inspired by that time. After Fletch’s passing, we decided to continue as we’re sure this is what he would have wanted, and that has really given the project an extra level of meaning.”

Dave Gahan added: “Fletch would have loved this album. We’re really looking forward to sharing it with you soon, and we can’t wait to present it to you live at the shows next year.”

Tickets to their tour will go on general sale at 10:AM, July 15, here.
