Dense & Pika (George FitzGerald remix)

Dense & Pika have a seemingly golden touch when it comes to stand-out tunes. The Hotflush duo have a knack of releasing cuts that define a musical year and they've done it a few times.

2012 was 'Mooger Fooger', 2013 was 'Colt' and 2014 was their hotly anticipated remix of 'Erotic Discourse' by Paul Woolford. As a production duo, they're as tight as tigers and Glimpse and Alex Jones are showing no signs of slowing down.

The duo are next up in the Hotflush remix series except this time they've handed over the reins to two other producers and the results are more than impressive.

Artwork has adopted his pounding Grain alias for a remix of 'Airless' and Berlin-based George FitzGerald has given 'Colt' a spruce up before the end of the year.

We've got the premiere of FitzGerald's edit and the Hotflush affiliate has taken that famous piano riff and thickened it out with heavy bass hits and mystical synths. It's a sumptuous edit and sure to bring a smile to the face of anyone who danced their socks off to the original.
