deadmau5 says he's working on a mysterious new film score
"Been working the lonesome graveyard shift a lot lately"
Multi-faceted artist deadmau5, aka Joel Zimmerman, has just revealed that he's hard at work producing a film score.
Continuing to showcase new sides to his persona, whether that be developing a first person shooter video game or producing a classical album, deadmau5's latest venture is particularly exciting as it's easy to see how his grand sound profile would compliment a film. He shared the news via Twitter, apologizing for "the music draught" as the film score is apparently taking up most of his time.
Back in March deadmau5 released an orchestral album titled 'where's the drop?' and performed “re-envisioned” material for the first time live conducted by musical director Gregory Reveret. More recently he also teased an upcoming collaboration with Rob Swire of Pendulum and Knife Party, their first collaboration since the 2009 track 'Ghosts 'n' Stuff'.
While there is little information given on the upcoming film score produced by deadmau5, look for more news coming soon.
