Datsik shares new video apology following sexual assault accusations

The dubstep DJ's response comes after 18 months of silence

Dubstep DJ Datsik has resurfaced with a public apology video after an 18 month hiatus due to accusations of apparent sexual assault by his own fans.

In the video, he discusses his pursuit towards therapy and rehabilitation after the events made him take a look at his own mental health. Because of the accusations, the DJ lost his label, management, agency and more.

Reading from a pre-written statement, he apologizes for his previous behavior and lifestyle that resulted in negatively impacting his relationships and career.

There is controversy over whether his apology is substantial enough for a comeback, as is evident in the thousands of comments found on the video post.

Before his downfall, he was playing at festivals such as Coachella, EDC Las Vegas and Ultra Music Festival and still has over a million followers on his Facebook page.
