Dance music meets Tinder in new Mix'd app
Swipe right for techno, swipe left for hardcore gabba
There's a new dating app and its focus is dance music.
Mix'd is the app that asks you to pick your favourite DJs and music and even pin-points what events you're heading to via your Facebook page.
It works on a similar basis to Tinder in that you swipe left or right depending on whether you like the person or not. In this case though we think it's going to be more "Ew he likes DJ Bl3nd, he's getting swiped left" or "Oh my god she's my dream girl, she's into Adam Beyer".
You can also send each other music you like once you've started chatting and it matches you with people who have similar tastes.
The app launched with a big party at New York's Verboten last week so we have high hopes for this one. Goodbye crap Tinder convos, hello meeting the rave partner of your dreams.
While the app is only available in the US right now, we're sure that once there's a hefty database of people using it, it's going to find its way to the UK and beyond.
For all of our Stateside readers though, good luck in your search for that Levon Vincent soulmate you've been looking for all these years.
