Dance music crossing borders from South Africa to China with BUDX
Linking up with DJs from around the world at one of the biggest dance music festivals
In this episode of Mixmag's On Rotation podcast we'll explore how BUDX is connecting talent from around the world who performed at The Brew District at Tomorrowland.
Dance music has the ability to give individuals from different backgrounds a chance to unite on the dancefloor and share experiences. It also can traverse borders to reach new audiences around the world who gravitate to the sounds of distant lands.
This year at Tomorrowland, BUDX took the opportunity showcase this unique aspect of dance music culture. DJs from South Africa, China, France and the USA were brought in to perform at an intimate location called The Brew District. In order to help tell this inspiring story of what it means to leave your home country and perform at one of the biggest music festivals in the world, Mixmag's On Rotation podcast will hear from Shimza and Kyle Cassim from South Africa, as well as Terry Zhong from China. Here we'll explore inspiring stories from these artists and reveal how BUDX is bringing them together to seize their time to shine.
