D.Tiffany’s Delicate Records releases new Dosis EP

It’s available to stream now

Dosis have released their new EP, ‘Naranja’, on D.Tiffany’s Delicate Records.

The EP consists of two tracks: title tune ‘Naranja’, and a B-side dub.

The title techno track is noted as ‘a drill in percussive practice, a repetition session for body release’. There are clap-backs, subs and drums rooted within.

The flip-side dub sees Nap (one half of Dosis)’s vocals being meshes amongst hypnotic sounds, distortions and harmonies.

On the release, the pair say: “This release continues to build on the infamous DOSIS sessions; although not many, always quite productive and frenetic . We made this over two days after not having seen each other for two years. The excitement of meeting and jamming again is all over this one."

"Earthy distillations of trance state grooves. Mother-earth techno stomper on the A side with a chest hitting dub on the flip.”

Dosis consists of Nap, of Isla and Ambien Baby, and ZDBT, of 1800Haight Street and Phost. The collaborative project has become a tool for the producers to channel the link that they share as friends and producers when they’re in the same space: there’s no specific sound, but more a subversive attitude.

Both members originate from punk, hardcore and noise backgrounds, so Dosis has also become a vessel for reigniting the pair’s original influences.

You can access Dosis’ ‘Naranja’ now, available on D.Tiffany’s Delicate Records.
