Cypress Hill celebrate 30th anniversary of debut album with limited edition release

New remixes and an animated music video will also be available

Cypress Hill are releasing an expanded anniversary edition of their self-titled debut album to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The album will feature never before heard remixes of 'How I Could Just Kill A Man' by Alchemist and 'Hand On The Pump' by DJ Muggs, which will also be available as standalone singles.

The group, made up of B-Real, Sen Dog, DJ Muggs and DJ Lord, will also be releasing a new animated video for 'Pigs' a raucous critique of police corruption, that will premiere on August 18.

'Cypress Hill' was originally released on August 13 1991, and was the blueprint for West Coast hip hop's crossover from US underground to mainstream pop culture. The album gave Cypress Hill the first-ever double platinum for a hip hop record - creating the foundation for them to sell 20 million records in their 30 -year history.

Cypress Hill has also announced an upcoming documentary in conjunction with Sony Music, 'Hits From the Bong' which will premiere on US TV channel showtime next year as part of the network's '50 Years Of Hip Hop' celebration.
