Manchester Airport is opening its hangar for a house and disco rave
A clubbing experience will be taking place under the wings of a Concorde jet at Manchester Airport.
The house and disco music party will be based in one of the airport’s hangars and will allow party-goers to dance around one of the world’s most famous planes, the Concorde G-BOAC.
Two separate dates are available starting with the first one on March 19 which will see DJs Dan Shake, Herbie Saccani and Surco residents perform.

The second night on April 9 will include performances from Crazy P, Sharples and Surco residents.
The event is described to be an “exclusive extravaganza will see you move and groove the night away inside a hangar occupied by one of only eighteen Concordes left around the world.”
“Featuring a line-up of some of the most in demand electronic DJs, get ready for a smooth take-off as they lay down everything from sparky acid, Brazilian samba, itchy funk and the grooviest of house. It’s going to be an unbelievable party to remember!”

The Concorde G-BOAC is said to have carried Her Majesty the Queen and Princess Diana on numerous journeys as well as being one of only three remaining of its kind in the UK.
Each night will run from 5PM to midnight with a special after party still to be announced.
