On Friday, March 12, we’re excited to showcase Cody Currie.
Since putting out his debut self-titled EP on Pusic Records in 2016, the London-born artist, who recently return home to the city following a stint in Berlin, has won admirers for his delectable take on house that regularly fuses elements of jazz and broken beat into the mix. Further releases have come via labels such as Razor N Tape, Classic, Shall Not Fade and two rapturously received collaborations with four-time GRAMMY-nominated US jazz pianist Joel Holmes on Toy Tonics.
Cody is now set to work closely with Toy Tonics on a string of future releases, which started with the five-track ‘Moves’ EP in February, featuring guest spots from Eliza Rose, Andreas Kon and Ally McMahon. Get it here.
