Childish Gambino announces huge show at Manchester’s AO Arena
The 21,000-capacity show is part of a world tour from the US superstar kicking off this summer
Childish Gambino, AKA Donald Glover, is set to head to Manchester’s AO Arena this winter as part of his imminent world tour.
The 21,000-capacity show is due to take place on November 26, 2024, with supporting performances from Amaarae, who will join Childish Gambino throughout the European, Australian and New Zealand legs of the tour.
The New World Tour, produced by AEG Presents, kicks off on August 11 in Oklahoma City and will continue through North America hitting stops in Detroit, Toronto, Brooklyn, New Orleans, Los Angeles, Seattle, and more.

The 33-stop North American leg concludes with a show at Chicago’s United Center on October 3. Each night, Childish Gambino will be joined by US singer Willow.
From there, the rapper will head to Europe alongside Amaarae opening in Lyon, before heading to cities including Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Glasgow, and Manchester to close off the second leg.
The tour follows the release of Gambino’s latest surprise album, ‘Atavista’, which landed on May 13, a “finished version” of his 2020 record ‘3.15.20’.

The record includes two new tracks, ‘Atavista’ and ‘Human Sacrifice’, and came alongside a brand new music video for ‘Little Foot Big Foot’ directed by Hiro Murai, featuring Young Nudy.
In 2025, Childish Gambino will continue the world tour across Australia and New Zealand with Amaarae, this time stopping in Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.
