Calvin Harris performs on the Liverpool team bus following Champions League Final
The self-confessed "super fan" played Liverpool FC’s unofficial anthem ‘One Kiss’
Scottish DJ, producer and songwriter Calvin Harris joined the Liverpool FC bus parade through the city yesterday, May 29, celebrating the club's domestic cup double wins this season.
The DJ performed a set atop the team bus making its way down Liverpool’s Queens Drive on Sunday as the Anfield club celebrated alongside him, following a season in which Liverpool won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup, but fell just short of a quadruple, finishing as runners up in the Premier League and Champions League.
Harris, who’s a known Liverpool supporter, made the surprise appearance on the bus, after Liverpool lost 1-0 to Real Madrid in the Champions League Final in Paris on Saturday night.

Taking to the decks, Harris performed Liverpool’s recently coined unofficial anthem, ‘One Kiss’, the 2017-released track featuring Dua Lipa. The team took on the track as their own after a Liverpool-honouring rendition was made in 2018.
‘One Kiss’ was played alongside to the team’s customary ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ anthem, which also made chant appearances at the final parade on Sunday.
The Scottish hitmaker previously expressed disappointment in not being able to watch the Champions League Final on Saturday night as he was headlining BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Coventry instead.

Replying to Harris in an Instagram post, Liverpool’s Jordan Henderson said: “Hi Calvin, it’s Jordan Henderson. I know you will be devastated about missing the Champions League final on Saturday but I hear you have a pretty big weekend ahead of you yourself, so I hope it goes well.”
Since the DJ’s appearance atop the team bus, he posted a series of photos alongside the likes of Jordan Henderson, Andrew Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Trent Arnold, and the team’s manager, Jürgen Klopp. “Amazing experience with the players & fans of Liverpool FC,” he said.
