Burial and Kode9 share a 30-minute mix ahead of their FABRICLIVE installment
The Hyperdub heroes put together an exceptional collection of tracks
In a world exclusive for Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC Radio 1, Hyperdub boss Kode9 and the enigmatic producer Burial have shared a 30-minute mix in support of their forthcoming FABRICLIVE release.
Back in August, London institution fabric announced that the 100th and final installment of its iconic FABRICLIVE mix CD series will be helmed by the two UK pioneers. Both Burial and Kode9 are recognized for their part in shaping the landscape of contemporary electronic music, with each artist fostering esoteric, hyperlocal sounds and extending their sound profiles to global recognition.
